Quilt Donations: Call for Quilts!

QFAC will accept quilts beginning October 1, 2008. The deadline to donate is
July 1, 2009.

The 2009 event will showcase quilts at a silent and live auction. Silent auction quilts
will hang for a month prior to the event in the halls of Tucson Medical Center. Quilts will be used for pre-event publicity and fundraising.

Quilt Specifications
Quilts donated to QFAC must be of new construction, and include a 3” sleeve across the top of the back of the quilt.

They must either be a wall hanging or lap quilt.

• Wall hanging size: a minimum of 18” up to 52” in any direction.
• Lap quilt size: a minimum of 48” in width, up to a maximum of 72” in length.

Based on sales from prior QFAC auctions, “Theme” quilts are encouraged. Possible themes include, but are not limited to: Holidays (religious, secular and/or patriotic), Seasons, Occupations, Ethnic, Sports, Animals, Juvenile, Gardening, Floral, Southwest – desert, cowboy, etc.
